Account & Security

Login, passwords, profiles, and account management

Getting started with NoidNurse is simple:

  1. Click the "Register" button on the homepage
  2. Choose your account type (Patient, Nurse, or Business)
  3. Fill in your personal information and contact details
  4. Verify your email address via the confirmation link
  5. Complete your profile by adding relevant details for your role
Tip: Nurses will need to upload credentials and certifications during onboarding. Have these documents ready to speed up the process.
  1. Go to the Login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password?" below the sign-in form
  3. Enter your registered email address
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset link (valid for 24 hours)
  5. Click the link and create a new password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and a number)
Note: If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder. Contact support if the issue persists.

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security
  2. Click "Enable 2FA"
  3. Choose your preferred method: SMS or authenticator app
  4. Follow the setup wizard to link your device
  5. Save your backup recovery codes in a safe place
Recommended: We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for all accounts, especially those with administrative access.
  1. Click your profile avatar or go to Settings > Profile
  2. Update your personal details, photo, or contact information
  3. Click "Save Changes" to apply updates

Changes to name or email may require verification. Profile photos should be under 5MB in JPG, PNG, or WebP format.

Accounts are temporarily locked after 5 consecutive failed login attempts for security reasons. To unlock:

  • Wait 30 minutes — the lockout expires automatically
  • Reset your password — use the "Forgot Password" flow to unlock immediately
  • Contact support — if you believe the lockout was unauthorized

Yes. Go to Settings > Profile > Email and enter your new email address. A verification link will be sent to both your old and new addresses. Your new email becomes active once verified. Username changes take effect immediately after saving.

You can deactivate or request deletion from Settings > Account > Deactivate Account.

  • Deactivation hides your profile but preserves your data. You can reactivate anytime by logging back in.
  • Deletion is permanent. We retain certain records for up to 7 years as required by healthcare regulations (HIPAA). A deletion request is processed within 30 days.
Warning: Account deletion cannot be undone. Make sure to download any data you need before requesting deletion.

Tip: For the best experience, keep your browser up to date and enable JavaScript. A stable internet connection of at least 5 Mbps is recommended.

Your dashboard is customized based on your role and provides quick access to everything you need:

  • Left sidebar — Navigation menu organized by category (collapsible on mobile)
  • Top bar — Search, notifications, dark mode toggle, and profile
  • Main area — KPI cards, charts, tables, and action buttons
  • Quick actions — Frequently used tasks are pinned at the top of each page

Use the Ctrl+K shortcut to open the command palette for quick navigation.

Yes! NoidNurse supports dark mode across all pages. Toggle it using the / icon in the top bar. Your preference is saved and persists across sessions. The platform also respects your system's dark mode setting on first visit.

Billing & Payments

Pricing, payment methods, invoices, and subscriptions

NoidNurse offers flexible pricing to fit different needs:

  • Pay-per-visit — Billed per service appointment
  • Monthly subscription — Flat rate for regular care needs
  • Enterprise — Custom pricing for healthcare facilities

We accept the following payment methods via our secure Stripe integration:

  • Credit/Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • Bank Transfer — ACH direct debit (US only)
  • Digital Wallets — Apple Pay, Google Pay
Secure: All payments are processed through Stripe with PCI DSS Level 1 compliance. We never store your card details on our servers.
  1. Navigate to Invoices from your dashboard sidebar
  2. Use filters to find invoices by date range, status, or amount
  3. Click any invoice to view details
  4. Use the "Download PDF" button to save a copy

Invoices are automatically generated after each service and emailed to your registered address.

  1. Go to Settings > Payment Methods
  2. Click "Add New Payment Method" to add a card
  3. Set your preferred method as the default
  4. Remove outdated cards by clicking the trash icon

If a payment fails, we'll retry automatically and notify you to update your payment details.

  • 24+ hours before service — Full refund, no fee
  • 12–24 hours before — 50% cancellation fee applies
  • Less than 12 hours — Full charge (no refund for late cancellations)
  • Subscription cancellation — Pro-rated refund for unused days in the billing period

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. To request a refund, contact support or use the cancellation flow in your bookings.

We are working with select insurance providers to offer direct billing. Currently, we provide:

  • Superbills — Itemized receipts you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement
  • CPT codes — All services include proper medical coding
  • Direct billing — Available for select enterprise and partnership agreements

Services & Booking

Booking appointments, service types, nurse matching, and care

  1. Go to Book a Service from your dashboard or the navigation menu
  2. Select the type of care you need (Home Care, Post-Surgical, Chronic Care, etc.)
  3. Choose your preferred date, time, and duration
  4. Optionally select a preferred nurse or let our algorithm match you
  5. Review the booking summary and confirm
  6. You'll receive a confirmation notification with your nurse's details

Our AI-powered scheduling engine uses a 3-phase matching process:

  1. Hard constraints — Filters nurses by availability, credentials, location, and specialization
  2. Soft scoring — Ranks candidates on 7 weighted dimensions (proximity, experience, patient preference, continuity, rating, workload balance, cost)
  3. Conflict resolution — Ensures no double-bookings and optimizes across all assignments

The result is the best possible match for your care needs. You can also request a specific nurse if you have a preference.

Yes. From your Appointments page:

  • Reschedule — Click the booking, select "Reschedule", and pick a new date/time
  • Cancel — Click "Cancel Booking" and provide a reason

Humanoid nurses are AI-powered robotic assistants that complement human nurses:

  • Vital signs monitoring — Continuous tracking of heart rate, blood pressure, SpO2
  • Medication reminders — Timely alerts and dispensing assistance
  • Mobility assistance — Help with walking and transfers
  • 24/7 availability — No fatigue, consistent quality
  • Real-time alerts — Instant escalation to human nurses for critical situations

Humanoid nurses always work under the supervision of human care teams and follow a 9-stage deployment pipeline to ensure safety.

After a service is completed, you'll receive a review prompt (typically 24 hours after). You can also leave reviews from your Appointments > Past Visits page. Reviews include:

  • Overall star rating (1–5)
  • Sub-ratings: Professionalism, Punctuality, Communication, Clinical Skill, Empathy
  • Written feedback (optional)

All reviews go through a moderation process before appearing on nurse profiles.

Technical

Troubleshooting, performance, mobile, and integrations

Try these steps to improve performance:

  1. Clear browser cache — Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete
  2. Check your internet — Test speed at fast.com (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)
  3. Close unused tabs — Reduce memory usage
  4. Update your browser — Ensure you're on the latest version
  5. Disable extensions — Some ad blockers can interfere with functionality

If the issue persists, check our status page for any ongoing incidents.

Common error codes and solutions:

  • 401 — Session Expired: Log out and log back in to refresh your session
  • 403 — Access Denied: You don't have permission for this page. Contact your administrator
  • 404 — Not Found: The page or resource doesn't exist. Check the URL
  • 500 — Server Error: Try refreshing the page. If it persists, contact support with the error details
Tip: When contacting support about an error, include the error message, the page URL, and the approximate time it occurred. Screenshots are very helpful.

NoidNurse is a fully responsive web application that works beautifully on mobile browsers — no app download required. Simply visit noidnurse.com from your phone's browser.

Limited offline functionality is available for nurses in the field:

Full platform features require an active internet connection. Data entered offline syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.

NoidNurse delivers notifications through multiple channels:

  • SMS — For urgent alerts (requires phone verification)
  • Browser Push — Desktop and mobile browser notifications

Customize your preferences in Settings > Notifications. You can set quiet hours to avoid after-hours alerts.

Yes. NoidNurse supports integrations with:

Yes. NoidNurse is fully HIPAA compliant and maintains the highest standards of healthcare data protection:

  • PHI encryption — All Protected Health Information is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Access controls — Role-based permissions ensure data access on a need-to-know basis
  • Audit logging — All access to patient records is logged and auditable
  • BAA — We execute Business Associate Agreements with all covered entities
  • Regular audits — Annual third-party security assessments

Access to your health information is strictly controlled:

  • Your assigned nurse(s) — Only during active care assignments
  • Your care coordinator — For scheduling and care planning
  • You — Full access to all your own records at any time

Administrative staff do not have access to clinical data unless required for billing or compliance purposes. All access is logged and auditable.

Yes. You have the right to access and export your data:

  • Go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Export Data
  • Choose the data categories you want to export
  • Select format (PDF, CSV, or JSON)
  • Your export will be prepared and available for download within 24 hours

This is in accordance with HIPAA's Right of Access and applicable data privacy laws.

  • Active accounts — Data is retained as long as your account is active
  • Medical records — Retained for 7 years after last service (per HIPAA requirements)
  • Billing records — Retained for 7 years (IRS requirements)
  • Deleted accounts — Personal data is purged within 30 days of deletion request, except for legally required records

If you discover a security vulnerability or suspect unauthorized access:
